ABOUT CAFECITO'S RUIRU 11 HONEY
Originally from Kenya and grown on the slopes of VolcĆ”n AtitlĆ”n, Ruiru 11 offers a balanced and versatile flavor profile. Processed using the honey method, where some of the coffee cherry's mucilage is left on the bean during drying, this Ruiru 11 develops high intensity, a full body, and creamy, velvety flavors. This unique process enhances the inherent sweetness and complexity of the bean, resulting in a truly exceptional cup. As the beans dry, the sugars in the mucilage caramelize, imparting notes of Dark Chocolate š«, Berries š, Caramelized Sugar, and Sweet Vanilla. This Ruiru 11 coffee has been recognized with multiple awards from the Guatemalan Coffee Association (AnacafĆ©). It is also Rainforest Alliance Certified as well as SHB (Strictly Hard Bean).
