May News: Spring Blooms, Smorgasburg Fun, and More at Cafecito! 🌸☕

That glorious Brooklyn sunshine is finally here, our doors are wide open, and spring vibes are in full swing at Cafecito Social!

April was a busy and beautiful month! We hosted two wonderful community events in partnership with our amazing neighbor, St Lydia’s: the vibrant Alfombras de Semana Santa and our enchanting Drag Story Hour. Thank you to everyone who came out and made them so special!

Start your day with coffee ☕ and our new Meat Breakfast Tacos – they go fast, so get here early! Next week, pair your afternoon coffee with Maizy's amazing cookies, baked by our very own barista! You may have seen her incredible cake for AJ – her cookies are just as delicious!

Our Smorgasburg adventure kicked off in April and has been a blast! It's been amazing connecting with new faces and joining such a vibrant vendor community in Williamsburg (Saturdays) and Prospect Park (Sundays). Come say hi and try our Smorgasburg-exclusive Tres Leches Foam Cold Brew or Iced Latte and cafe favorite Chocobanano Iced Latte! We're loving the experience and the relationships we're building – stay tuned for Smorgasburg vendor collaborations at the Cafe!

Both my kids have gone to an amazing play based school in PLG, Maple Street School, and on Marathon weekend we had an impromptu flash fundraiser at Smorgasburg. We raised almost $500! Peggy, you will be getting a check soon!

Can you believe that Cafecito turns 1 on June 4th? It feels like yesterday! We're planning a celebration to thank you all for your amazing support – stay tuned for details!
