OUR STORY

¡Hola! 👋 I'm Gaby, the coffee-loving Chapina behind Cafecito Social. This isn't just a coffee shop; it's my personal story in every cup. ☕️✨

You see, I'm a Guatemalan who's built a beautiful life in New York. I met my husband here, became a stepmom, and my kids are true New Yorkers. But Guatemala will always be home, and after 20+ years and a career in the beauty world, I felt this pull to reconnect with my roots and share them with the people I love. ❤️

So, I took a leap of faith and created Cafecito Social. It's my way of keeping the love for Guatemala alive in my kids, and introducing the world to the incredible flavors of my homeland. 🌎 Every year, my family and I travel all over this incredible country to find the most amazing beans. From the volcanic slopes of Antigua (where I got married!) to the shores of Lake Atitlán (a place that holds so many special memories), we seek out those hidden gems that showcase the unique flavors of each region. These special coffees are grown with love and roasted to perfection, bringing you the true taste of Guatemala in every sip. 😋 Join our community of coffee lovers and discover the magic of Guatemalan coffee! ✨.
